MAGIERA

After undergoing intensive training under a renowned candle artist in New Zealand, designer Yoko Nishida established candle studio MAGIERA in Japan.

Unlike the candles you normally see in furniture hypermarts, Nishida's candle designs go beyond functional purposes as they are meant to serve a dual purpose as an interior decorative object as well. MAGIERA is far different by leaps and bounds for their creative use of paraffin wax to create beautiful works of art that serve as wall fixtures, hangings and home ornaments.

With a hint of nostalgia, MAGIERA's designs are often described as antique-inspired and today, their products are sold in more than 100 shops worldwide.

Their latest collection, Deserted Fragment, makes use of dark marble colouring, with motifs that mirror those of old churches.

Pointers for Using Candles

Trim wick to 8〜10㎜(1/2 inches) before lighting and relighting.

If the candle extinguishes, trim the wick.

・Never leave a burning candle unattended.

・Always burn the candle in a non-flammable receptacle.

・To prevent fading, keep out of direct sunlight.
