Vanessa Ward is a PhD graduate (some time ago now) of the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland and the Australian National University where she completed a BA + hons in Gold & Silversmithing (much longer ago now). Vanessa has had an ongoing fascination with exploring materials which do not have traditional value ascribed to them. Designs that can easily sit between production pieces and one-off items. Her jewellery owes its distinctive look to her appreciation for modernist design and architecture.

This latest collection is 100% synthetic and made of polyester. She currently resides in Singapore, where she teaches at LaSalle and is busy launching her new company idlezoo as well as continuing to develop jewellery collections.
